Untitled Blue
by Ben Nardolilli
Outside the window,
the untitled blue, clouds
hung over the suburbs
and the houses barely lit,
nothing to work with,
nothing working over me,
the ground barely iced over
with hints of danger,
thank the barren trees
for any kind of landmark,
indigo branches slicked
with late winter’s glaze.
