Knight Errant?
by Gerard Sarnat
Just attempting
to keep at my
wanderer soul’s
chivalrous
knitting,
poetry is armor.
Like a thimble,
it can be small
& seemingly
insignificant
but will protect
us when we are
most vulnerable.
