Artist’s Statement:
This piece is a part of a collection in which I was exploring with inanimate objects, focusing on making the familiar, unfamiliar. I gravitate towards abstract art, the idea of making something hard to define appeals to me. Do we really want to know the answer? Did we, when we were children? Or were we floating in the mystery, living every possibility it had to offer? I invite you to look into this world of imagination and collect the hints you can find. That’s all you need.
