These thoughts relenting,
Always in her head.
Whispering bad, bad, girl.
The little fat girl—
who always felt neglected—
finally got some attention.
She was starving for it.
Her self-worth not inflated.
Attention—
so over rated.
Became someone who she hated,
she never looked at herself the same way again.
Just wanted to feel like she was worth something—
Oh what a pity—
A welcome mat she was—
Don’t step on her,
on your way out.
