Blue Heart
by Christopher Woods

From the artist: “Blue Heart” is most definitely a digital photograph and not a painting. Sometimes, as a diversion from straight, realistic work, I venture into the abstract, often using industrial objects like machines as a starting point. Concrete, especially stained concrete, is another place to start. Then the image goes through a process, maybe using several techniques, so that I end up with a completely different image. No rules about it. “Blue Heart” came about in this way.
