Emily as My Bones Again
by Darren C. Demaree
Bodies are blunt.
I am not wide enough
to make any waves
in this world,
but I live on her beach
anyway.
We arrived together.
She brought me here.
Bodies are blunt.
I am not trembling
anymore.
I stand in this world
with Emily.
She shoved me through
to the front of the map.
