MASKS
by Phil Kemp
Before I walk the neighborhood
I fashion a mask, cover my
nose and mouth.
How times have changed;
once a mask concealed a
villain.
Now masks reveal our saviours;
emergency teams giving
oxygen, pedestrians restraining
infections
and all who are mask wearers
perform a common good; they’re
actors, healing our world.
